'Papa' graduation film
In June 2023 I graduated from the bachelor Animation Design at ArtEZ Zwolle. During my final year I made an animated short film centered around the relationship between a daughter and her father and their fear for death. It's a film about trauma, coping and the love deeply rooted within the complicated relationships of family.

'Send' a 24 hours film
During the 24 Hours event I wanted to test my ultimate limits. How much could I make in 24 hours without any sleep. The result is 'Send' a short film about my passion for bouldering and pushing your own boundaries.
'Magic Palace Hotel'
'The magic Palace Hotel' is a 3D film entirely made in VR using Quill. The film is based on the comic of the same name made by Fred.
'Terugkeer'
'Terugkeer' (return) is a short film about my hometown Rotterdam. A city that can often feel overwhelming and cramped. But if you know your spots you can find the calmness in-between. I chose to hand draw all the animation from my sketchbook to get my audience as close to my perspective as possible.
'Beehold'
'Beehold' was an external assignment from school. The artist Florentijn Hofman had designed a statue for the Floriade of 2022, he asked our animation year to create promotional material.
'Anger'
With the film Anger I wanted to show what it feels like when you get so angry you are no long in control of yourself. When everything blurs and the world around you turns into a haze of rage and colors. For the film I tried bringing different techniques together, using paintings for the background, digital animation for the characters and rise-printing for the rage sequence.
'Ad Fundum'
Ad Fundum is a film made in my 5th semester during my studies at ArtEZ Zwolle. The world was in lockdown and especially at art school you noticed more and more people dropping out due to personal issues. So I wanted to make a film focussed on the feelings of burnout and the slow recovery process.
'Cobi & Nino'
Cobi and Nino is a stop motion that I made with 3 other classmates. I was one of the animators and set designers.
